Feature article on Charles. Sadly Charles died in 1931 after a tragic accident and his funeral was attended by 100’s of people from Darlington and from the local sporting world. His coffin was carried by representatives from his sporting connections including The Harriers. Charles was a Tailor like his father and Grandfather before him and when he died Mountford Tailors, a Darlington business that ran for 108 years, came to an end.
